The three principles of Nutrition and the tactical approaches that can change your life.

The adage "You are what you eat" holds truth, but it lacks actionable guidance. While there's no "optimal human diet," there are key principles and strategies to guide your nutritional choices.

Principle 1: Prioritize Protein. Protein, the building block of life, is crucial for DNA programming and body repair. Aim for 1g per pound of body weight. This may be challenging due to the food industry's profit-driven approach, but with awareness and strategy, it's achievable.

Principle 2: Balance Fats and Carbohydrates. Both are essential for hormone production, neurotransmitter function, and energy expenditure. While temporary dietary modifications can be beneficial, finding a sustainable balance that suits your individual needs is key.

Principle 3: Choose Nutrient-Dense Foods. Opt for foods closer to their natural state, rich in macro, micro, and mineral nutrients. Processed foods, while convenient, are often nutrient-poor and unnecessary.

Tactical Approach 1: Relax. Food is nourishment, not a source of stress. There's no "right way" to eat, so don't let societal pressures turn mealtime into a source of anxiety.

Tactical Approach 2: Be Ungovernable. Understand your specific nutritional needs and strive to meet them consistently. Don't let others' preferences or profit-driven advice dictate your choices. Set the standard for where you you eat and where food is sourced.

Tactical Approach 3: Embrace Change. Regularly introduce new foods to your diet to maintain enzyme production and avoid allergen sensitization. Find your equilibrium, then experiment with variety.

These principles and tactics are not exhaustive, but they provide a solid foundation for nutritional decision-making.
